Bobby and I had such a great time getting to know Christine and Carlo's families and also seeing some familiar faces at their wedding. We were happy to see our friends/past clients, Lily and Ralph, there :) I also got super excited when I heard my favorite Coldplay song, "Yellow," play as the couple did their first dance! Overall, the night was simply amazing, and I don't think there was not a single guest that did not make it to the dance floor!
xoxo
How did you guys meet?
We met at a sorority/frat party. I ran over one of the lights in the driveway of the house the party was at; I got down from the car and Carlo was outside (I didn't know him at this point) and asked him to park my car for me!
Describe the proposal:
Easter Sunday is a special day for me because it is the anniversary of my grandmother passing away. So on Easter Sunday, we were doing an egg hunt for Carlo's little sister. He gave me a golden egg, and it had the ring inside. He proposed in front of both of our families!
What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?
My favorite date night would probably be ordering some sushi, having a nice bottle of wine & watching a movie in our PJ's!
What do you love about him so much?
I love that I can feel safe like he protects me from anything, he's my best friend, it's hard for him to say no to me, he supports me & encourages me when I want to give up & he loves me unconditionally :)
What do you love about her so much?
I lover her so much because she brings the best out of me. She pushes my buttons yet she knows exactly how to calm me down. She is loving and family-oriented. Her beauty and her intelligence.
What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?
It's square, off-white & gold, classic, and elegant with a pocket inside!
What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?
Our wedding colors are mostly gold, off-white, yellow, and a hint of green. I chose those colors because it is the summer, I love gold, and I wanted to keep everything simple but nice.
Describe your wedding cake:
A vanilla rum cake...It's off-white & kind of lop-sided squares with a gold trim on the bottom of each layer & then natural orchids hanging down each layer.
Describe your wedding flowers:
I love the flowers! There were two different kinds of arrangements for the reception, and both were tall. One was a round arrangement with yellow roses & white hydrangeas in a clear vase with water & orchids. The other arrangement was orchids in a clear vase with water. The flowers were all yellow, white, and a touch of green. Also I included brown willows!
What was your First Dance song, Father/Daughter song, and Mother/Son song at your wedding reception?
Our first husband/wife song was Coldplay's "Yellow."
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
For our honeymoon, we went to Paris, Madrid, Barcelona & Rome.
What are you looking forward to in the future together?
Graduating law school, starting our career & our actual lives together, having our own home, and eventually starting a family :)
