Welcome!

Cheers to Allison!

Wednesday, July 1, 2009

I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing me with such wonderful brides, and how I love all of them so much! Today, I am so happy to share Allison Haddock's inspirational story with you. Her determination and focus on shaping up for her wedding day is truly motivational, and even made it to today's Florida Times Union newspaper.

Check out the full story here:

Just to let you know that Ali actually lost 23 lbs and not 17 lbs as stated in the article! ;-)

Here's one of my fave pictures from Ali & Dave's engagement session last November:

Congrats on your way to success, Ali, and I'm so proud of you!! Bobby and I can't wait for your wedding in October!

Krissy & Mike's Wedding Sneak Peek Pictures

Tuesday, June 30, 2009

Bobby and I had so much fun at Krissy and Mike's wedding at Jacksonville Beach. It was our first morning wedding ever, but it was worth waking up at 5 am for this awesome wedding :) Krissy & Mike cooled off after a sizzling hot day by trashing their wedding attires at the end of the reception :) Enjoy!

Bella & Edward's Kiss

This is totally unrelated to photography, well, sort of unrelated. I must say, this picture of the Twilight saga movie characters, Bella and Edward, is totally hot! During engagement sessions, I always ask my wonderful brides and grooms to do the "half-way" kiss. So sexy and sweet at the same time :)

Enjoy, Twilighters!

Bryan Johnson & Jory Cordy

Thursday, June 25, 2009

I had such a great time at A Bryan Photo Workshop back in April, and it really made me appreciate film all over again! Both amazing photographers, Bryan Johnson and Jory Cordy (one of the Mammoth Men), shoot in film, and they were such good sports "modeling" for us at the workshop. Of course, I shot in digital along with film. Below are the ones in digital format :) Enjoy!

Photogen Inc - Birmingham, AL

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

It has been two months since my workshop with A Bryan Photo in Birmingham, AL, but I figured it's never too late to start posting pictures :) I took a bunch of pictures (as always), so therefore, I'm going to blog several posts in regards to this awesome workshop! I want to introduce you guys to Photogen, Inc., whom I absolutely love! Eleisa and Judd are one cool couple that didn't mind jumping ten billion times for me :) They agreed to model for our mini-film session with A Bryan Photo guys...haha, of course, I couldn't resist but take some in digital format as well :)

Enjoy!

Sally & Jason are Engaged!!

Saturday, June 20, 2009

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon at Jacksonville Beach on the day of Sally & Jason's sweet engagement session. I've been looking forward to this photo session because it was also my first time meeting them in person :) As soon as I saw Sally in this pretty pink coral dress stepped out of Jason's Mercedes Benz sports car, I just knew that it's gonna be a gorgeous session. Sure enough, the chemistry between them two is very heart-warming. Sally's infectious smile and Jason's "Edward-look" made people stop and watch us.

I tried to explain to Jason to keep his "Edward-look" like from the movie Twilight, but Sally told me that he has not seen it. I had to laugh out loud when my husband, Bobby, mentioned that Jason looks like a "tanned Edward" when he was watching me put their slideshow together. ;-)

Sally and Jason, I had a wonderful time at your session and can't wait for your wedding in February!! Thank you :-D

Candace & Zach's Engagement Session @ the Jacksonville Zoo

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

The first time I met this lovely couple was way back in May at the Wedding Photography workshop I held at Barnes & Noble Mandarin. Right off the start, I just know that they would be such a fun couple to take pictures of, and I'm so glad that they did choose me as their wedding photographer!!

Candace cheerled all throughout high school and college, and one of the tips I mentioned at the workshop is to go over bridal magazines and study the models' poses and "fierce" looks. Haha-we tried that at the Jacksonville Zoo, but she's so bubbly and sweet that sometimes a "fierce" look is just not that important :) Probably it also didn't help that Zach was nothing but all smiles all throughout the session. I can really see and feel the passion between them two, and I cannot wait for their wedding in January!!

Congratulations, Candace & Zach!!

xoxo

Tiffany & Danny Married in Tampa, FL!!

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

You may remember this fun couple from their AWESOME engagement session in New York City last fall :) I had such a total blast doing that session!! Their wedding in Tampa was also so FUN!! It rained a lot, but that did not dampen the joyous occasion!! Bobby and I really enjoyed capturing their love story on photos. The reception at the Lowry Park Zoo was wild and crazy--from the giraffe feeding to their wedding cake that looks like from Alice in Wonderland :) It was also so sweet (and humbling) to find their engagement pictures plastered everywhere at the reception site. We love Tiffany and Danny, and we're thankful to them for choosing us to be their wedding photographers!!

XOXO

Sally & Jason's Engagement Session Sneak Peek

Friday, June 12, 2009

Yesterday was my first time meeting this beautiful couple, and Sally told me that Jason is camera-shy. I'm not too sure about that. Even some of the people passing by us told me that they looked so "natural." Definitely a fun couple and can't wait to show more pictures soon!
