Lori and Jason's Holiday Session - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Always a pleasure to photograph this beautiful couple!  Lori and Jason have graced my blog for a couple of years now especially around this time.  I am thankful that they get their holiday pictures done with me every year now since they got married :) Lori is my best friend since high school, and I would remember her going to a photo studio at the mall to get her Christmas pictures done ;) I am glad that has changed since then, and she is open to an outdoor photo session!

Our photo-shoot was so much fun!  Lori and Jason are always ready for the camera, and they rock for letting me pick the location for this year's holiday session.  Thank goodness for an old abandoned fire station because the red brick wall and the tattered red paint was the perfect background for them and their photo props!  Now,  I can't wait to get my Christmas card from Lori and Jason!

Enjoy!
XOXO

Lori and Jason's Studio Light Test Shoot - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

It is very good to have friends that do not mind being my "models" when I need to test out new studio lights! Thankful for my BFF, Lori, and her husband, Jason, for agreeing to put up with me in my office/studio in San Marco as I played around with my new studio lights with my other photographer friend, Norman :) I'm a Pinterest-addict, and I've been pinning some fashion photos that I have wanted to try out with my new lights. So glad that Lori and Jason didn't mind posing and modeling for me after I showed them my "pinned" inspiration pictures on Pinterest :)

Here are a few from our test-shoot, and I cannot wait to play with my new studio lights again! Special thanks again to my best friends, Lori and Jason, for modeling and for Norman helping me out :)

Enjoy!
xoxo

Sally & Jason are Married!! - Jacksonville, FL Wedding Photographer

I first met Sally and Jason last summer on the day of their engagement photo session. It was great getting to know them then, and I've been looking forward to February 20th! The weather on their wedding day was simply gorgeous just like this couple. Sally and Jason are both lovely people inside and out, and it's a pleasure to photo-shoot their love story :)

Prior to the wedding day, Sally wanted to do the "First Look" with Jason. I am glad they both agreed on doing that especially since it got too busy and crowded in Downtown Jacksonville due to people tailgating for Jimmy Buffet's concert right across from the Old St. Andrews church. We were able to photo-shoot most of the "formal" shots before the ceremony and the bridal party got to cool down with frozen margaritas and cold beer afterwards. Fun times!

The black-and-white damask theme carried on to their reception. I'm loving both the wedding cake and the grooms cake. The candy favor table was such a great idea, and what an awesome prop for their "rock" shots too :)

Congratulations, Sally and Jason! Bobby and I wish you many wonderful sweet years ahead of you, and thank you for having us capture your own love story on photos!

XOXO
