Definitely check out the newest and hottest rustic wedding venue in town, Bowing Oaks Plantation! It is conveniently located in Bayard area of South Jacksonville (near the Avenues Mall and Nocatee Community).
I had the privilege of photographing the first styled-shoot there, and I cannot thank enough the venue sales manager, Heather Canada with First Coast Weddings and Events, and the Bowing Oaks Plantation owners for the opportunity! I had such a blast working with Heather and the model, Makayla Brie! I am grateful for my assistant, Nellie, for lugging around my heavy equipment to help me get my shot efficiently :) Lastly, we can't complete the bridal styled-shoot without an engagement ring on the model right? Luckily, Makayla and I have the same ring size! It was pretty strange to see my ring on her hand, but I am happy I got to take photos of it with the gorgeous flowers at this beautiful place!

If you are looking for an elegant venue with rustic flair to it, Bowing Oaks Plantation is perfect! Heather told me that I can book the venue for family photo-shoots also, and I cannot wait to take my clients out there! :)
