Bryan & Stacy's Family Session - Jacksonville Beach FL Family Photographer

It was such a nice day at Bryan and Stacy's family photo session. I met up with them at their beautiful home and started taking pictures there. Their two little children are adorable! You may remember their sweet boy from aholiday photo session I did before with Stacy, Bryan and Stacy's side of the family at the Cummer Museum of Arts & Garden. He was full of energy then and he still has a lot ot it now at our second photo-shoot. We finished the session at the beach, and the weather was perfect. I had a great time photographing this sweet family! Bryan ended up soaking wet towards the end of the session when he was playing with their son in the water. Their little girl was just content playing in the sand :)

I'm thankful that Stacy's stepmom, Linn, got them a photo session with me! It was originally going to be a newborn session for Stacy's little girl, but having a family session right around when she turned one year old is great also :) Be sure to check out the slideshow for more pictures!

xoxo

Marie and Kelson's Wedding - Ponte Vedra Beach & Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to our first 2012 wedding couple, Marie and Kelson!! I've had the pleasure to get to know this wonderful couple during our engagement photo shoot last summer. Marie is one of the nicest and sweetest person I've ever met, and I can just tell how much Kelson adores her :) I also love how organized and detail-oriented Marie is with her wedding planning :) Bobby and I have been to many weddings where we were always pressured with time-constraint, but nope, not at this wedding! I'm so happy that Marie really wanted to work with us as far as getting ready extra early so we can get more photos of her and her bridesmaids, and same goes for Kelson and his guys.

It was such a happy day, and we are truly thankful that we got to be a part of this beautiful wedding :) Their families and friends are all very nice and welcoming! Marie's sisters were so much fun to photograph! Bobby and I are also happy that we got to work with a lot of our favorite vendors again at Marie and Kelson's wedding! Be sure to check out the slideshow for more pictures :)

Enjoy!
XOXO

THEIR LOVE STORY:

How did you guys meet?

We met through friends when we were out one Saturday night. We started hanging out as friends after that for a few months and then we went on a date! One date turned into two and the rest is history!

Describe the proposal:

It was perfect! We went to St. Augustine on December 18, 2010 and Kelson took me to dinner at my favorite restaurant, The Columbia. I thought it was just a special date night for Christmas at first. Then we went on a trolley ride to look at all the holiday lights. After that, Kelson said he wanted to walk back by the fountain near the Casa Monica in a sweet, little romantic park area. He started saying all these sweet, romantic things and he got down on one knee and proposed! It was a total surprise and just so perfect!

What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?

Dinner and a movie or putt-putt golf, we have so much fun :)

What do you love about him so much?

Well, I love everything really!! He is so sweet and loving. He is so patient and calm. He always knows what to say and how to make me laugh. I love being with him!!

What do you love about her so much?

I love her sweetness and her compassion. She is very caring and considerate and makes me a better person!

What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?

Our wedding invitations are deep purple and lavender. They are pocketfold envelope style and the invitations/inserts were printed by Lithographic Services. I did the background layer and belly bands myself with lavender paper.

What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?

Deep, dark purple; lavender, and some pink accents. The colors are very romantic and perfect for a winter wedding!

Describe your wedding cake:

Our cake is 3 tiers, each tier is a different design with all white icing and purple/lavender flowers on the top and cascading down.

Describe your wedding flowers:

Dark purple and lavender calla lillies in my bouquet, and a variety of other flowers in the other bouquets and centerpieces like hydrangeas and roses

What is your First Dance song, Father/Daughter song, and Mother/Son song at your wedding reception?

First Dance: Everything by Michael Buble
Father/Daughter: Daughter by Loudon Wainwright III
Mother/Son: My Wish by Rascal Flatts

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

Maui!!! We stayed in South Maui for 7 nights and it was perfect!

What are you looking forward to in the future together?

We are looking forward to living together and spending lots of time with each other! Looking forward to getting a dog in the future and eventually starting a family!
