Katie and Meagan's Fun Portrait Session - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

Love it when friends stop by at the office studio to say hello. Meagan works at The District Church Headquarters, which is just a few minutes away from my studio. Glad she stopped by along with Katie. I just got done with a newborn photo-shoot, so I already had my backdrop and lights set-up so we had a little fun before they left :)

Megha and Kajal's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Always a pleasure photographing my eye doctor's beautiful family! Grateful that I get to photograph Ms. Megha and Dr. Choksi's children again along with Ms. Megha's sister Kajal's adorable little ones! Kajal and her husband, Sid, are vacationing in Florida right now, and I am so happy that they connected with me for a family portrait session before they leave back for their home in London. I also got to meet their twin boys for the first time, and they are so cute!!

Their twins just turned 1-year-old, and it was pretty cool that I got to witness and photograph their traditional first haircut ceremony, also known as choula. I "googled" more about this tradition, and the first haircut ceremony signifies freedom from the past and moving into the future.  It was educational and fun at the same time for me!  Overall, it was a great time, and I am thankful for these two families! I truly enjoyed taking everyone's photos :)

Alison and Jason's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Always such a joy photographing Alison and Jason along with their baby boy no matter what the weather is like outside.  Loving the fog at our last session.  I also got to meet and photograph Jason's side of the family right before the holidays.  Alison and Jason used some of the photos for Christmas cards and presents, and I am glad that I get to blog their pictures now :)  I cannot wait to photograph their sweet boy soon again!
