Sonja & Matt's 1-Year Anniversary Photo Session - Jacksonville, FL Photographer

I've been anxious to showcase this lovely couple in my blog ever since Sonja contacted me to have a photo-shoot somewhere there is a barn :) Immediately, I thought of the cornfield where I did a trash the wedding dress session about two years ago. I was in Waynesville/Asheville, NC area a couple of weeks before our session, and everywhere I turned made me think of Sonja and Matt because there were tons of barns, cornfields and cows grazing on the meadows.

We've all been looking forward to our Oct. 24th session, and it was so much fun working with them two :) It was projected to rain on that day, and it had been very cold earlier that week, luckily, it turned out to be sunny and warm during our photo-shoot. I have to give props to Matt for being the sweetest hubby to Sonja and sucked it up by wearing a thick sweater at the session. To top it off, it was Kid's Day on that Saturday at
Conner's A-Maize-ing Acres, and it was soooo crowded! That didn't stop Sonja & Matt to have fun and kiss in front of the crowd :)

You guys rock! Thank you for letting me capture this eventful photo-shoot :)

xoxo

Love this shot (the 2nd shot from the bottom), girl! Great composition...wow! I don't know why it reminds me of the movie, Pride and Prejudice. Two different worlds entirely... silly, isn't it?

Love,
mom
