Had a blast this weekend!! It was my first time white water rafting, and I was sooo nervous on our way to the Great Smoky Mountains (Pigeon River) this past Saturday. Bobby chose the Class 4 rapids, and I'm glad he did! It turned out to be soooo FUN!! It was such a great adrenaline rush, and I was laughing and giggling the whole time that our tour guide even nicknamed me, "Giggle Box." Two of the guys in our raft were tossed out at one of the rapids, and we almost flipped (but didn't, thank goodness). Loved it and definitely want to go again!
Rafting down the river was also a humbling experience. The Great Smoky Mountain is so beautiful, and I thank the Lord for blessing us with these majestic mountains. I felt so small surrounded with these huge trees, but I also felt so alive and big at the same time :) It was very spiritual and refreshing :) Thank you, Jesus.

I did a level 5 in Alaska for my first time and it was the most amazing experience ever and the picture is one of my most cherished possessions...I was in the very front and I have this massive look of determination. It makes me laugh every time I see it b/c all I remember is being like you -- giggling the whole time!!!
