Thursday Therapy Jacksonville's October 2013 Event - Jacksonville FL Event Photographer

As I mentioned in my other post, I'm finding all these "forgotten files" in my hard drive.  I'm trying to make more space, so I'm in the process of organizing my pictures.  Here's a Thursday Therapy event that I co-host with Cassie Cherneski of Flaire Weddings and Events.  It is always a great time for wedding vendors to get together and network during our "off-hours."  I never really get the chance to catch up with vendors when I'm working at a wedding, so having the Thursday Therapy once a month is perfect for me to stay in touch with everyone.  We meet on the last Thursday of each month from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at different venues.  The wonderful 927 Events hosted our October get-together.  The venue has such a rad vibe to it, and Chef Chriss did an amazing job with the food!  Choux Bakery treated us with her sweet macarons!  I'm obssessed with her macarons by the way, and this reminds me that I have to order some from her for Valentine's Day!! :)

Cate Bates' Lifestyle Session - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

Everything about this session is gorgeous!  One of our beautiful past brides, Cate, has recently started her own company, Cate Bates Events & Design!  She was working at TPC Sawgrass as an Events Coordinator as well as a Catering Sales Manager while planning for her own nature wedding last Fall.  By the way, the decor and flowers at her wedding were all so beautiful, and The Knot wedding magazine is planning to feature it on their upcoming issue!  I'll share more details about it when the magazine is published!! 

We are very proud of Cate and her accomplishment! She did a great job planning her own wedding at Walker's Landing.  Her wedding florist, Liz Stewart Floral Design, did such a great job as well with her flowers! We are also grateful to Liz for letting us use her beautiful shop for Cate's lifestyle portrait session!

Romance at Roy's Restaurant - Jacksonville Beach FL Event Photographer

I had a great time last night taking pictures at Roy's Restaurant and networking at the same time with local wedding planners and coordinators!  It was a chance for them to preview what Roy's can offer in regards to space availability and food choices for events like wedding showers, wedding rehearsal dinners, baby showers, and any other event functions.  It was great to see A LOT of familiar friendly faces as well as new lovely vendors :)  I'm thankful that the PR manager for Roy's Restaurant connected with me in regards to taking photos for the event.  Special thanks to Divine Design Cake Boutique, Tanya Hendricks of Southern Charm Events, Susan Kass of A Fantasy in Flowers, and Unforgettable Events for collaborating together and making a successful event night :)
