Lori and Jason's Baby Announcment Featured on Shutterfly.com Blog! - Jacksonville FL Maternity Photographer

I love baby announcements, and I love it even more if big companies like Shutterfly.com notices your photos and add them on their blog site! Lori and Jason's baby announcement session was taken way back in September 2014, and TinyPrints used the photos back in May 2016. They recently updated the blog post now that they have merged with Shutterfly, and I'm happy to find Lori and Jason's photos are still there! :)

Scott and Lynne's Family Session - Jacksonville Beach FL Family Photographer

It was lovely to reunite with Scott and Lynne and their beautiful family on a warm day in December! I had the pleasure of photographing their eldest daughter when she was just a newborn and during her first year. I am glad we had stayed in touch via Facebook. This was my first time meeting their second daughter, and it is amazing how their family has grown so much since I last saw them!

For the enchanting Florida winter background, we went to Lynne’s parents’ house in Neptune Beach only a block from the ocean.  I love how when clients are in a familiar place their photos come out so cozy and relaxed.  Even the newly added family member, Chub-Chub the Boston Terrier (named by the eldest daughter), seemed to feel at home.  

One of my absolute favorite elements of this sessions was getting to photograph Lynne and her sister, Shannon, with the girls.  I think it is so precious to have two generations of sisters in a photo; it brings back fond memories for the grown-ups and gives the kids a glimpse of what their own relationship might be like as adults. Getting Lynne’s mother in a few photos was an added bonus! I am glad she agreed to be a part for some of the shots :)

This family stays busy with Scott working as a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway along with Lynne's mom and sister; and Lynne running a very successful Plexus drink business, but I cannot wait to catch up with them again.

Eric & Tiffany's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Twins Photographer

On a pristine Sunday morning, not long before Christmas, I headed out to Cradle Creek Preserve after another family photo session in Jacksonville Beach to meet Tiffany and Eric and their adorable twin girls. Tiffany and Eric are long-time sweet clients of mine, and I've loved seeing them grow as a couple and become awesome parents. This was my second time working with their twins (well, third time if you count Tiffany's maternity session), and like their parents, the girls just sparkle in photos. (It doesn't hurt that their mother has a keen eye for putting together chic outfits.) This family truly loves Florida, and they always like to incorporate as much of that as possible in their photo sessions. We went boating for their lifestyle shoot, and citrus grove meandering for their maternity shoot, and this time we explored the beautiful Florida marshes. It has been such fun for me to show off how much this happy little family embraces their home state. I hope these photos bring you as much joy as they do me! I can't wait to see them again!

Chelsea and Sean's Baby's Summer Session Sneak Peek - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

Summer is almost over for most kids in Florida because they are going back to school in the next two weeks, but it's never too late for a fun summer session with Chelsea and Sean's handsome boy!! He just turned 7-months old and can sit up on his own. Of course, we have to incorporate watermelons for his summer photo-shoot at one of my favorite Southern parks, Alpine Groves Park :) I love the props that Chelsea brought to our session, and enjoy the sneak peeks below!

Bobby and Nicki's Baby's First Birthday Session - Jacksonville FL Baby Photographer

It had been a wonderful year photographing Bobby and Nicki's beautiful princess! It seems like it was just yesterday when I photographed her newborn session. Now she's officially a year old, and I had a blast taking her birthday photo shoot at the studio. No smashing cake like what her big brother did for his own 1-year-session, and that was quite okay :) Baby E was content with just her balloons, tutu, pearls and her shades! :) I'm grateful I got to photograph this birthday princess several times during her first year! Thanks to Bobby and Nicki for always having me photograph their gorgeous family!
