Amanda & Will are Married!! - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

There's something I just love about this couple! Amanda and Will are both pretty laid back, and I know that they don't like all the big fuss for their wedding. It was small, intimate, and simply FUN! I had a great time taking pictures of their family and guests. They all danced the night away, and even at one point, one of the guests grabbed me by the arms and picked me up. Yeah, it got a little crazy, but crazy fun :)

Congratulations to Amanda and Will! I'm truly thankful that they had me as their wedding photographer :) I wish them both nothing but the best in life!

XOXO

THIER LOVE STORY:

- How did you guys meet?

We met in the Navy we were both working on the USS Enterprise, we were just friends for about 2 years before we finally starting dating each other On Feb 14, 2009.

- Describe the proposal:

Clumsy! But unexpected. We were living in Virginia at the time waiting for my orders to move to Jacksonville, and he went to Jax for a couple weeks to help his mom with work, whenever he got back he reached in his bag and pulled out the ring. He wasn't expecting me to be right behind him so he stumbled a little and didn't quite make it down on one knee, then he put the ring on the wrong finger! But it was great, I love him so much!

- What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?

Dinner and watching a movie together in theaters or at home

- What do you love about him so much?

He can always make me laugh, even if he makes me angry right before it

- What do you love about her so much?

I love all of her.

- What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?

It's a see through invitation with our engagement picture (by Corinna Hoffman Photography) pasted behind it, with lilac white and blue ribbons made them ourselves.

- What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?

Lilac and cornflower blue, my favorite colors! I also thought they would be good colors for the Easter month.

- Describe your wedding cake:

Three layers with blue and lilac flowers and a funny ball and chain ornament as our topper.

- Describe your wedding flowers:

White and blue in my bouquet and white blue and lilac in the bridesmaids. All with sparkles on the flower petals.

- What is your First Dance song, Father/Daughter song, and Mother/Son song at your wedding reception?

First Dance - I Can't Help Falling in Love With You by Elvis Presley
Father/Daughter Dance - Smile by Uncle Kracker
Mother/Son Dance - A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men

- Where did you go for your honeymoon?

On a cruise to the Caribbean!! From Miami to Samana, Tortola, St. Thomas, and Great Stirrup Cay!
