Rachel, Chandy and I woke up early that morning after a wedding in New Orleans for some yummy beignet at Cafe Du Monde before we all headed to the airport. With an hour more to spare after breakfast, I jokingly mentioned to Chandy that it would be so fun to trash her bridesmaid dress in New Orleans. I was stoked when she willingly agreed, so therefore, we rushed back to our rental car, Chandy put on the dress right there in the middle of the New Orleans street.. and viola, we had sooo much fun photo-shooting for just about 30 minutes all over Decatur Street :)
If you have a bridesmaid or even an old prom dress that you just don't know what to do with it now that the occasion is over, contact me for an awesome "Trash the Dress" photo session!

I think I remember those purple doors! And where did she find that purple hat?! Too fun!
oh my goodness!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PICS IN THE RETRO DINER!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Ohana-I'm lovin' the "eggplant" color too! :)
@Gwen-the bride gave her that purple hat and purple boots--they were supposed to do this honky-tonky dance at the wedding, but got so caught up with the moment that they never got around to do it.
@Ali-thanks, girl!!! :)
I love this shoot, Cory! What a great idea!
I've only been able to convince 1 girl to do a trash the dress session. I love them! Great work!
@Jennifer--thanks so much!!
@April-thanks for the blog love :) Just tell the brides that you're not really "trashing" them.. just like a bridal portrait.. but edgier :)
Love this session, the lighting was good. Can't wait for my fun session!
