Kellie & Randy's Trashing It Session

Okay, it wasn't really trashing the dress but more of having wedding pictures at the tourist hot spots in Los Angeles and Hollywood, California. I was up for the challenge when Kellie shared her visions with me. She and Randy were so busy on their wedding day that they both didn't have the time to have the pictures they really wanted to have. That's what I love about the "Day After Sessions" that many photographers are now offering with their clients. This session is more relaxed and have more time for any shots that we all can't get on the wedding day due to time-constraint. Kellie, of course, just had to trash one of her many wedding dresses towards the end of the session at the beach. The waves were amazing and a little bit scary. There were times the wave looked like it was going to sweep Kellie back to the ocean. Photography can be fun and dangerous!

Here is a list of the places that we hit for the session (not in a particular order):
The Getty Villa
Bel Air Gate
Rodeo Drive
Sunset Boulevard
Beverly Hills
Malibu
Dog Park in Hollywood
Grauman's Chinese Theater
Local pumpkin orchard near the closed Pumpkin Patch at Faulkner Farm

In the midst of a hectic schedule, I managed to stop by at Whole Foods in Hollywood in hopes to see movie stars, but didn't. I did end up spending about $70 on vitamins (geesh!). Kellie and I also got to see the awesome Broadway musical, Wicked!! Yay--fun times, and I'm so thankful for God's blessing on allowing me to travel a lot lately for photography :) Kellie & Randy--you both rocked the session and thanks for the wonderful opportunity to capture all the fun photos :)

Lots of great shots! My faves (aside from the ones posted before) are the Hollywood sign, the toes in the sand (with rose petals??), and the garden with that fabulous blue sky!

I really need to move. California is so amazing!!!

Thanks, ladies :) California is amazing, but I'm not to sure if I can put up with the crazy traffic. I'll need my own driver if I ever do live in Southern Cali.

Cory,

We LOVE the pixs!!! I hadn't left a comment yet because I was thinking out how to put into words how awesome they are, but I give up. The bottom line is I'm speechless and can't express enough how wonderful they are. We love them and can't wait to show our children some day! Thank you!

Love,
Kellie

As parents, we were so impressed with the way you took charge of every picture situation and you always got-it-right. I wish you were there for our wedding.
