Go Away, Fay!

As much as I am stoked that we're off work tomorrow, I can't help but get concerned as well. I lived my first 10 years of my life in the Philippines and have gone through several major typhoons (that's what we call hurricanes over there), and I have to be honest, I am a bit traumatized by the howling winds. Something about that sound that just gives me the goosebumps. I can still remember hugging my Grandma's leg and trying to hide when I hear the wind howling, rain beating down on our roof, and the trees swaying back and forth. Creepy.

Although Jacksonville has not been hit directly by a strong Hurricane since we lived here in 1995, I am praying to Jesus for safety. Please keep us in your prayers as well. This has been a really stressful week and the weather is definitely not helping alleviate some things, but I believe in the power of God and prayers. I pray for everyone a safe week and to stay dry :)

It's also good to be prepared ahead of time. We did our Hurricane supplies shopping on Monday and Tuesday. I hope you got to do yours already.

Fay, Fay, Go Away.. Don't Come on Another Day!

We closed down the park Wednesday morning and I don't go back now til Monday... which is nice is one sense but not so good because of the reason. It's been awful trying to get the dogs outside to go potty! Ha ha!!

Stay safe!
