Dean and Amy's Family Session - UNF Nature Trails Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

One of my past sweet brides, Allison, connected with me in regards to family photos for her sister Amy and her family, and I am glad that she did. I had so much fun getting to know Amy, her husband Dean, and their three beautiful children :)  Amy works in the Biology Department at University North Florida, so it was only fitting to have their family photo session done at the UNF Nature Trails! It has been about two years since I have been there for a photo shoot, and I am happy to be back :) It truly is a beautiful area, and it would be so nice if it becomes a wedding venue also!

We have been planning for this photo session for awhile now. With our work schedules, and their little girl's clinic days, it was not easy to schedule a date that is good for everyone. When we finally did, it happened to rain really hard earlier that morning. I am glad that it stopped just in time before we started our photo-shoot, and I did not mind the overcast at all :) It is actually good for photos so no one is squinting :)

Enjoy!

Jennifer & Ryan's Engagment Session - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Can't get enough of this lovely sweet couple!! Every time I watch Bruno Mars' music video, "Just the Way You Are," I always think of Jennifer and Ryan :) I'm glad that they've decided to use the same song for their picture slideshow as well, so be sure to check it out! They're such a sweet couple, and I love how they are so in love with each other! They both have a passion for music and first met at University of North Florida, so naturally, we had the first part of their engagement session done at UNF's Fine Arts Building :)

It was also the last day of the fair in Jacksonville, so we decided to finish the rest of their session there :) It was super crowded, and high five to Jen and Ryan for putting up with the craziness at the fair :) I love photo-shooting this couple, and I cannot wait for their wedding day next November! Hmmn... I wonder if the fair will still be in town by then, and maybe I can convince Jen to trash her dress there... ;) Haha, for now, enjoy their engagement pictures below!

XOXO

Jennifer plays the oboe, and it's really cool that we got to incorporate her instrument for some of the shots :)

Just in case you're wondering.. Jennifer is Polish & Italian (see the sausage sign behind her) ;-D

Love how that little girl above them is watching them as they kissed :) Too cute!

Jennifer's TOMS shoes with their wedding date painted on it. Purple and silver are their wedding colors too, by the way :)
