Seavey and Amber's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

It was my first time meeting this family, and I instantly fell in love with Amber and Seavey's three adorable children! Their two girls are so full of life and energy that I had such a blast chasing them around at the park and taking their photos :) Their little guy is too young to walk and let alone sit up on his own, so he always stayed with Mommy most of the time.

They are all super troopers in my book. We lost our sunshine as soon as we arrived at the park, and it was pretty crowded that day. We had to find our own little area to avoid many people photo-bombing our photos, and then it got really dark on us. Luckily, the sun came out just towards the end of our session, but then it got super windy too! Their little ones braved the elements, and it was so much fun capturing what "real life" is for Amber and Seavey!

I love them all, and I am so grateful that Amber connected with me for a family photo-shoot.  Pretty awesome also that she and I happen to have A LOT of mutual friends on Facebook! What a small world :) Here's wishing this beautiful family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Lori and Jason's Christmas Photo Session 2013 - Jacksonville FL Couples Photographer

It is practically a tradition every year around this time to photograph my lovely best friend, Lori, and her husband, Jason for their Christmas Card photos!  I love them, and I love how they are always open with my choice of location!  Last year, I found an abandoned firehouse station a couple of blocks down from my old office in San Marco, and they were up on having their session there.  We found a fun red door that was perfect for their Christmas card!  This year, we decided to have it in the garden area behind my new office in Riverside. I had a great time taking their pictures as always! Lori and Jason are super adorable together, and I love that they brought a mistletoe with them.  It was perfect for the "kissing shot!" :)

We went to our favorite coffee shop, Bold Bean Coffee, after the photo-shoot since it is so close to my office.  The lighting at the time we were there was just perfect that I wanted to photograph Lori and Jason inside Bold Bean Coffee.  Haha, I think I caught Jason off guard, and he definitely was not too keen on the idea of getting his pictures taken inside a coffee shop with many people around us!  But he is such a good sport and agreed to it to make Lori and I both happy ;)  I am glad he did because I really love how the photos turned out, and now I want to have my own photo-shoot with Bobby at Bold Bean also!!  Now, I just need to find out who wants to take our pictures there ;)

Kristen & Scott's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

When it rains, it doesn't mean that the photo session has to be cancelled. As always, I checked the weather forecast the day before any of my photo-shoots, and as for Kristen and Scott's session, it was supposed to be a clear day.... but instead, morning rain showers and grey cloudy sky greeted us. It eventually stopped raining for a bit, and the grey skies did not bother this wonderful family at all! Kristen and Scott's baby boy just kept smiling for the pictures. I love it when parents bring their own props to make the photo session unique :) Just in case anyone is wondering, NONE of those ornaments used in the pictures are glass ornaments. They were all either styrofoam or plastic, and I highly doubt those ornaments had lead on them. Baby safety is always #1, and it was SO much FUN taking pictures of their baby boy!! :)
