Emily and Jimmy's Post-Wedding Reception - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Emily and Jimmy got married earlier this year, but they decided to have their grand wedding reception this past summer and also celebrate Emily's graduation from school as well. At least that was what their wedding guests expected to celebrate.  Emily and Jimmy are also expecting their first baby and made their big announcement at the party!

I just know from the time Emily connected with me that I am going to love her and Jimmy! They are such a fun couple, and I am honored they had asked me to photograph this special time for them with their family and friends :)  I had a wonderful time, and I think more wedding receptions should be like theirs. They love the TV game show, "Minute to Win It," and incorporated something similar to their party. Despite the heavy rainstorm outside The Country Knot barn, I just knew everyone had a great time! Lori's Annual Christmas Party - Pinterest-Inspired Decor

Yes, it's February and Valentine's Day is just right around the corner, but I'm going to go ahead and post pictures from my best friend's Annual Christmas Party. For over 15 years now, my high school best friends and I get together for Lori's Christmas slumber party.  We are all over 30, and yes, we still have our ritual pajama party once a year (maybe because we don't have kids) ;)

I don't post enough personal photos, but I'm trying to change that this year.  Lori, is one of my high school best friends, and she is super creative when it comes to party-planning, hostessing, designing and decorating, as well as baking!  Seriously, she is the epitome of Betty Crocker!  Our last Christmas get-together was so pretty with all of the Pinterest-inspired decor and party ideas that I just have to blog about it even if it's over a month ago! :)
