Souvenir Photos from the Cruise
I'm posting our "souvenir pictures" from Celebrity Infinity tonight instead. I still have two weddings that I'm photo-editing right now and still need to create slideshows for my blog soon, so therefore, I have been putting off on posting pictures from the cruise. My best friend from college, Rachel, flew from Charlotte this past weekend to second-shoot with me at Morgan & David's wedding, which was a blast by the way! I'll be posting their wedding pictures soon--just in case any brides out there are wondering if all I have are Alaska pictures or not ;-D

What is Success?
SETTING GOALS...but not in concrete
STAYING FOCUSED...but turning aside to help someone
FOLLOWING A PLAN...but remaining flexible
MOVING AHEAD...but not too fast to smell the flowers
TAKING A BOW...but applauding those who had a part in your success...
YOU are a success!
As I keep contemplating and praying about my future, I ran across this beautiful card at CVS today. I was browsing around for a great Graduation card for our friend Peter who's graduating tomorrow from UNF...instead I found myself being comforted by the words on the card and said a little thank you prayer to God. With the comfort and support from my husband, family and good friends, I think it's time for a change. I'm not sure exactly what kind of a change I'm going to pursue as of yet, but I've been itching for one or two...soon!
On another note, to keep up with my daily Alaska posting, here's a mini slideshow from our fishing trip in Sitka. My point-n-shoot camera is not really the greatest thing to use on an overcast day, but I know some of you have been asking for the fishing trip pictures. Enjoy!

Emily caught the biggest Halibut of the day!

Getting Ready for the Weekend
Today is my sister-in-law Emily's bday, and I just want to give her a blog shout out to wish her a very Happy Birthday!!
I'll be in Miami this weekend for Kellie's bachelorette party :) It's kind of cool how I was just in Alaska last weekend and was cold, and now I'll be in Miami this weekend where I'll be sweating. I won't be able to check any emails, but I'll be sure to get back with everyone on Monday :) Have a great weekend, everyone! Go Yankees!!
Here's a picture of the view from our ship's stateroom:

Photo Safari in Juneau
I was originally going to post just one photo a day from our Alaskan trip, but I think it will take me over a year to finally show everything I like if it's only one picture a day ;-) Below are the pictures I took from our photo safari in Juneau with Gastineau Guiding. I was a bit disappointed with the whale watch tour part because all we saw were the flukes and no breaching, but apparently, that is not very common to see. With a two hour tour in the boat, it's definitely not enough time to see the active whales playing :( Nevertheless, Bobby and I had a blast and learned a lot about Alaska's wild flowers, Mendenhall Glacier, humpback whales, bald eagles, mean harbor seals, about the local people in Juneau, salmon, porcupines, and beavers from our wonderful tourguide Jim. Enjoy the pictures :)

Bobby's Halibut
Before I retire for the night, here's another picture of the day from our Alaska cruise/trip. He caught a total of three halibuts during our fishing tour in Sitka along with Emily and Darick. Now I can't wait until Tuesday when FedEx delivers our Halibut filet in dry ice packaging :)
