I've been doing some online-window shopping for a good camcorder/video camera since the movie feature in my point-n-shoot digital camera is a bit low-end, and I found this in Amazon:

Fellow bloggers and webcasters, what are your thoughts on a good and affordable video camera out there...and well, simply your thoughts on video blogging as well? :)
Thank you!

I love the flip, I don't have one, I purchased one for a little girl in Ohio, but one day I'll get me one!
ReplyDeleteI've seen some amazing work done with them....
Love your work!
hey girl! i love the idea of webcasting, but i sound like a man on camera, so i don't do much of it. oh how my parents wasted their money with my broadcat journalism degree!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done this yet, but I soooooo want to! But the thing is... what to talk about?? And when to sit down and actually do it?? Now that my office is all decorated I think it's time! I ventured into video with a snippet from the aquarium on my blog, but it wasn't a broadcast. I'm interested to see where you go with this. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to find an affordable video camera too, so you'll have to let me know what you find!
ReplyDeleteAs for video blogging, I think it's a great idea! One of the bloggers I visit (http://cfhusband.blogspot.com) does occasional video blogging too. It's a nice addition to the written word! And for a shutterbug such as yourself, it's not a far step from the stills you already take!
I think webcasting is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I bought a JVC Everio Digital Camcorder last year and have been very pleased with it. You can get it on sale for around $300 which is not too bad for a hard drive camcorder. What I love most about it is its compact size... it is small enough to fit in your purse, but big enough to have good control when shooting.
Hey Corinna,
ReplyDeleteI have the mini flip, but not the HD version. I just took it out yesterday and very much enjoyed it. The sound quality and picture were fairly decent for such a small camera. And, it's incredibly easy to stop and start and to review the videos you've taken.
I have no idea how it looks on the computer yet, as I haven't downloaded anything, but the usage of it was great :)
