You Just Know When to Stop...

...when your body is telling you to do so. Thirty minutes before my flight from NYC landed into Jacksonville, I started sneezing and right there and then, I just knew it that I'm getting a cold. I hate that feeling, and what's worse, I hate it when my head feels like a balloon, my mind is so foggy, and I can't function right. This is a busy weekend for me, and God is so good that He will do anything to make me just sit, relax and prioritize things in my life.

Many of you know that I won 1st place at my Area Contest for Toastmasters' Evaluation Speech Contest. Our Division contest was actually last night and not during the same weekend as I was in NYC. I was way too sick to go, so I missed it. This morning, I didn't have the energy to run 5K, but I did it for Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure, and boy do I feel good now. I feel accomplished despite of my stuffy nose and congested sinuses. We also celebrated Sarah's birthday with smoothie and coffee after the race.

Below are the pictures from the race and one snapshot from my Toastmasters contest two weeks ago :)
