Brian and Mary Margaret's Family Session - Fernandina Beach FL Family Photographer

Mary Margaret and Brian were vacationing in Amelia Island, and I am so glad that I got to meet up with them for a bit and photograph their beautiful family! They just arrived from New York City the night before our photo session, and they rock for being up early in the morning and ready for pictures.  Even though we started right at 8 am, it was already SO hot at the beach!  We decided to change location for the second part of their photo-shoot and headed towards downtown Historic Fernandina Beach.  We found a shaded area at the marina, and I think their baby boy liked it there so much better than at the beach.  It wasn't as hot, and he was more playful and smiling for the camera ;)  Mary Margaret's mother also did a great job entertaining and playing with him!

I have so many favorites from this family photo session.  Be sure to check out the slideshow below for more pictures!  I will be back in New York City next month for a wedding, and it would be fun if I get to see this beautiful family again!

Johnson and Jackson's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Elizabeth originally scheduled her family photo-shoot with me for a Saturday afternoon, and just within an hour before our session, dark rain clouds hovered over Riverside where we were going to have our photo-shoot.  I'm so glad that Elizabeth and her parents decided to reschedule the photo-shoot for the next morning instead because God graced us with an amazing sunny weather.  We started early in the morning so we did not have to miss church. Good thing my church is just about 5 minutes down the road from the Memorial Park :)

Love this family, and it was great meeting them for the first time at the photo-shoot.  I had so much fun taking their pictures!  Elizabeth's mom and dad are awesome and pretty funny too!  Elizabeth and her husband, Jay, are adorable together, and I enjoyed taking photos of just the two of them together :)  Elizabeth's nephew was the star of the show, though!  He is such a cute and sweet baby, and overall, it was a fun family photo session  :)

Santa Rosa Beach Family Photo Session - Destin FL Family Photographer

This summer has been fun with traveling!  As soon as I got back from our California trip, I had about a day or two to rest before I drove to Destin area to photograph Erin and Aaron's wedding vow renewal.  It was so beautiful and stay tuned for more pictures from the vow renewal.  Erin and Aaron traveled from Missouri to Destin with a couple of their friends and their friends' families joined them in Santa Rosa Beach.  Right before the vow renewal started, I got the chance to photograph Erin and Aaron's friends' family session!

It started raining earlier that afternoon of the session/wedding vow renewal, but thankfully, it stopped raining just right before we started the photo-shoot!  It eventually cleared out towards the end, and the sun came out shining bright!
