We started the month of May with an AMAZING wedding!! I've been looking forward to Melody and Wayne's destination wedding for over a year now!! I can't believe that it was already a month ago. Time flies when you're having fun and fun is just an understatement when describing this wedding. Every moment we were in Vegas was amazing, and it really is just like what you see in the TV commercial for Las Vegas :) We cannot thank Melody and Wayne enough for flying us all the way to the city that never sleeps (next to NYC, of course) and have us photograph their beautiful wedding.
Melody's beauty was radiating and I'm sure it stopped the crowd in the casino as she walked past the roulette tables on her way to the Bellagio terrace where she and Wayne exchanged their vows. Wayne looked dapper himself in his black suit, and I can just tell how happy and in love he is with Melody. Their ceremony was such a sweet moment, and due to Bellagio's photo restrictions, I wasn't technically allowed to take pictures. But hey, I'm a friend of the bride who just happened to have a camera with her too :) Luckily, it was okay for us to photograph at the reception!
Bobby and I love everything about this wedding! It was great to see a lot of familiar faces and especially our past two wonderful wedding couples, Steph, Patrick, Cass and Bret! Another cool thing about this wedding is that Melody and Wayne chose Bellagio for their wedding venue, and they picked yellow and black for their colors (Wayne is a HUGE fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers!) :) Their May wedding was perfect timing for Bobby and I since exactly five years ago to that month, we also got married at the Bellagio and our wedding colors were also yellow and black! I would joke around with Mel and called her my "wedding twin" ;)
I can go on and on about how magical this wedding was and how happy we are to be a part of this special day in a very special way, but I'll let you get to know the couple more, so be sure to check out their Love Story below! Check out their picture slide show also for more pictures :) Congratulations to Melody and Wayne, and we wish them both nothing but the very BEST in life!!

How did you guys meet?
We met through mutual friends at lunch one day and it was downhill from there.
Describe the proposal:
The proposal was quite elaborate. We were in Vegas and Wayne surprised with a trip to the Grand Canyon that included a helicopter tour and a pontoon ride along the Colorado river. He finally popped the question on the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?
When it doesn't involve a sporting event, we just like to grab a bite to eat and some drinks.
What do you love about him so much?
He's always striving to do bigger and better things, whether that be for work or our relationship.
What do you love about her so much?
She's beautiful, smart and sweet and always getting me to try new things.
What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?
Our invites had a damask design and included our colors, black, yellow, and silver. We ordered them from Zazzle.com.
What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?
Our colors were black, yellow, silver, and white which represents some of our favorite sports teams, the Penguins and the Steelers.
Describe your wedding cake:
We wanted the cake to be modern so we went with a square, 4-tier black and white cake with a hint of yellow accents. It also had damask patterns like our invitations. Then, I thought "a cake can only be photographed one side at a time." So on the backside of the cake, I requested to have our team logos and such which was a total surprise for my hubby. It was a better alternative than trying to ship a leftover groom's cake home and my husband really loved it.
Describe your wedding flowers:
My bouquet had yellow roses and white orchids, a splash of crystals and tied with black satin ribbon. The MOH had all yellow roses and the moms had a matching yellow rose corsage. For the fellas, I opted to make them something more meaningful, a sports themed boutonniere. I ordered the mini Steeler helmets online and make-shifted the rest. We plan on hanging it up every year as a nice Christmas ornament.
What is your First Dance song, Father/Daughter song, and Mother/Son song at your wedding reception?
Aww, the First Dance....we opted to just have fun with it so we went for a remix of a few songs we thought would just make people laugh like Ice Ice baby & Thriller, just to name a few. I'm sure it will be on youtube.com later.
For Father/Daughter song, we chose The Way You Look Tonight cover by Maroon 5.
The Mother/Son song, Forever Young by Rod Stewart, was chosen by the groom's mother.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
We don't plan on doing the big honeymoon right away, but we plan to take a short getaway to south Florida in August.
What are you looking forward to in the future together?
In the future, we're looking forward to traveling more and perhaps building a bigger house to start a family in ....or to just throw kick ass parties :)
