The weather this past weekend was simply perfect (and not to mention the bizarre fog at the beach during mid-day) for photo sessions! I got the chance to take pictures of four little darlings this past Saturday and Sunday. Loving all these sessions, and I'll have more of their springs photos posted on the blog soon and very soon :)
I always enjoy watching the Oscars and really, any award shows, because I love looking at the celebrities' gowns, jewelries, shoes, and other accessories :) Two gowns really stuck in my head tonight as I was making mental notes on whether it can be pulled off as wedding gowns or bridesmaids dresses. One is Scarlett Johansson's beautiful dress and the other one is Academy Award Winner Natalie Portman's "maternity" gown. I didn't even realize that both colors are plum until I'm getting ready to blog the pictures below. That color is hot! Spring or fall, I think that shade of purple is awesome all-year round :)
What do you guys think? Love it or hate it?
XOXO
Love, love, love this dress! It could be a wedding dress if it's in white or ivory :)

Not only do I love this dress, and that I think it would be a perfect bridesmaid dress, I am also loving Natalie's earrings!! :)

Here's a recent wedding I've photo-shot where the bridal party wore plum, and I'm loving the colors :)
It's such a beautiful sunny day today in Jacksonville, FL and a perfect time for family and baby sessions! I took Hope & Val's baby photo session at Jacksonville Beach today around noon, and the fog there was insane!! I've never seen the beach so foggy before especially during mid-day :) Check out the pictures below, and yeah, it was that foggy :)
Now I'm off to another family/baby session, and this time it will be at a park. I highly doubt it will be foggy there, but I'm up for another surprise :) Happy Saturday, everyone!
I think it's cool flipping through an old local magazine and seeing some of my pictures :) I was getting ready to recycle the San Marco Magazine from last Fall, and I'm glad I flipped through the pages first before tossing it into the blue bin :) I saw an ad for Pulp and then a local business spotlight section on the Pulp owner, Jason Bajalia :) YAY!!
Here are the scanned pictures from the magazine :) Now I wish it's not midnight when I am blogging this because I'm craving for their Nutella smoothie and mango fro-yo! :)
I'm having a wedding fever today and can't wait for my first 2011 wedding in March! Haha, with all of the family and baby sessions I've posted on the blog, I promise that I also photo-shoot weddings (just in case you're new to my blog) ;) With that said, I'm posting detail shots from the wedding I helped photo-shoot back in November with David Craver of Sublime Studios. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Palm Valley Gardens, and I can't wait to photograph another wedding there in a couple of weeks! The venue is beautiful!! :) The bride's wedding planner, Tanya Hendricks of Southern Charm Events did a great job on decorating the place and creating an ambient yet fun atmosphere. I look forward to working with her again for Bekah & Marc's wedding in April!
XOXO
It was so cold on that day but the lighting was beautiful just like the bride and groom! :)
I'm loving the bridesmaid's dresses and their bouquets :)
Here is Tanya in the blue top with her team.
Not sure what this was for, but it surely added some charm to the whole wedding decor.
I looove how there was a basket of goodies just for the children at the wedding. Very thoughtful!
The sand dollars had Bible verses pasted on the back. Pretty neat idea :)
Palm Valley Gardens in Ponte Vedra is truly a beautiful venue. I have two weddings there this year, and I can't wait :)
Okay, I have a confession to make...I am not looking forward to this family's next photo session! Haha, only because it means that it will be my last one taking pictures of their adorable children before their little boy turns 1-year old :) You may remember him as the cute little cupid with big blue eyes from my Valentine's Day post :) I've enjoyed photographing this family during Baby Boy's first year, and I always look forward to their next photo session. Baby Boy's smiles and chuckles simply melt my heart, and I can't believe that in a few months, he'll be 1-year-old! Time flies, and I'm happy that Jackie and Jason decided to have me capture his first year on photos :)
Enjoy their "Spring" pictures below, and yes, it's still technically winter time but not here in the South. The weather has been wonderful (for now, at least) :)
XOXO
Hello, gorgeous eyes!!
Hello, beautiful eyes!
Hmmnn, I think this is such a perfect Hallmark picture for a Mother's Day card :)
I love taking pictures of Mommy and Daddy kissing and capturing their children's reactions. Love this series of photos :)
Gotta love big sisters!!
Hello, GAP Kid models!!
Baby Boy's first teeth!
What a lovely family, and I'll be so sad when I'm done taking pictures of this family this summer.
Congratulations to Kim and Mike!! Their sweet little pea is simply adorable, and I'm so happy that I get to photograph their baby during her first year :) It was my first time meeting Kim and Mike at the session, but I can tell they're awesome parents! They love their daughter so much, and it truly shows in the pictures :) We did Baby's newborn session about a month after she was born, so we will wait another couple of months until her next session. I can't wait for it! :)
