I'm Too Sexy

Red hot bride! One of my brides from 2005 and I are still friends to this day, and she recently asked me if we can do a boudoir session. This is my first ever b-session and there were lots of "convincing" from my bride if I can post some of the shots in my blog..haha ;-) Finally, here are some of the pictures to show you, ladies, who may be interested of doing one for your husband. A glass of wine before the session is definitely recommended--LOL ;-)

No slideshow this time...just a few of my favorite shots :-)

Busy Week!

I am loving life way too much right now :) Two weddings yesterday and a wonderful engagement session last weekend..plus a boudoir session...keep an eye out for my blog in the next week or two for fun pictures...for now, I will leave you with this fun song Kung Fu Fighting that I can't stop humming nor listening to it in my iPod..::wink-wink to Ruby and Mike::

Ladies, Celebration Church is going to have the annual women conference, Shine 08, starting May 1st, this Thursday. Check it out if you get the chance too--it will change your perspective in life ;-) Ayiesha Woods' concert is open to public on Saturday, May 3rd. If you can't go to the whole conference, then at least make it to her concert--it should be lots of fun and fellowship! I'll be there taking pictures for the church this week and on that Saturday--so come and say hello ;-)

Just in case you can't make it at all, be sure to check out the Women of Faith conference on May 16th-17th at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. I would love to go, but I will have my first destination wedding on that weekend :) Lori, have fun!!

Happy Birthday, Mike!

The gang (minus Rob, Anna, Katie & Mad Dog) went out to celebrate Mike's birthday last Friday night at the European Street Cafe, which is pretty much one of our favorite hang-out places. Today is Mike's actual birthday and just wanna send a blog shout out to wish him a FUN DAY!

Morgan & David are Engaged!

Another reason why I love wedding photography--I get to meet lots of cool and unique couples. Morgan & David truly have something special between them two. Not to mention, David has the coolest truck in the world! Morgan's daughter rocked their e-session as well! It was more like their daughter's photo session than Morgan & David's :) Towards the end, we were able to do some couple shots when David's mom came by to pick up "the princess." :)

Chopped!

I finally had my hair chopped 11 inches last Tuesday night ;-) Last time I did that was back in April 2004. I figured it's been 4 years, so why not and besides, my wedding is over and that was the main reason why I wanted to keep my long hair ;-)

Below are pictures that my husband took earlier tonight when I got home from Celebration Church. Isn't our baby the cutest? :)

Wedding Coordinators

Yay! My artwork is featured in another vendor's website. I recently worked with Cassie from Flaire Weddings and Events at Naomi and Jon's wedding. She just revamped her site, and she has some of my photos there showcasing Naomi & Jon's wedding :) Thanks, Cassie, and I hope to work with you again!

Brides, it is always a great idea to hire a wedding coordinator so you will be less stressed on your wedding day and enjoy more of all the precious moments :) And you won't be so much of a bridezilla to many ;-) I admit, I am a control freak, and I like to plan out my whole wedding especially with us having a destination wedding in Las Vegas. Hiring Rebecca as my wedding coordinator at the Bellagio Hotel really helped me out plan a perfect fairy-tale wedding. Don't think that hiring one will lose the creativity you want to achieve. You can still plan how you want your wedding day to unfold, and the wedding coordinators are there to make sure that everything will happen smoothly on your day.

Kudos to Cassie of Flaire Weddings and Events. If you're planning on getting married at the Bellagio Hotel like we did, look for Rebecca Labonne. :) Good luck!

On a side note, Bobby and I originally planned for a 07.07.07 wedding last year in Vegas, and boy are we glad that we had it on May 31st instead. It was already super hot then and not to mention a bit pricey ;) Las Vegas truly made a revenue on 07.07.07 because all the wedding packages for that day doubled and room rates tripled :(

Young Folks - Erika, David & Caroline's Portrait Session - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

God truly blessed us with an amazing sunshine last Saturday. The weather forecast showed 60% rain, and it was very gloomy at 7 am on my way to pick up my friends from Sweden for our photo session. I have known Erika, Caroline and their family since 1997. Their older sister and brother, Rebecka and John, and I became instant pen pals when I first met them at a Messianic Synagogue. None of us are Jewish, but I must say it was a divine appointment by God for a new friendship to blossom. :)

The Hutchins are from Sweden and they come to Jacksonville at least once a year to visit their grandparents. I get the privilege to hang out with them when they're in town :) Sometimes, not the whole family comes together and over the years, we have grown and gotten married..so this time, Rebecka and John would bring their spouses when they visit Jacksonville. Erika came with Caroline, their parents, and this time, her boyfriend David. I enjoyed meeting David because he knows how to work it in front of the camera and behind the camera! He's a photography enthusiasts, as well :) David, if you're reading this post..I'm still waiting on those hockey pictures! ;-)

Erika, David and Caroline are truly photogenic, and I am glad that we were able to fit in a photo session just right before they left back for Sweden :) Enjoy the pictures!
