Goodbye, Blue!

These past two weeks have been nothing but a crazy ride!! Job interviews, job promotion, camping during the only freezing weekend ever this year, cleaning the house during my PTO days, resignation at BCBSF, Thanksgiving with the family, football, football, football, family portrait photo session, getting my website together (and still in the process of doing it), surviving the first week at Harte-Hanks, planning for Bobby's Bday Bash.. oh dear.. need I say more?

It's getting late, so I won't post too much boring stuff in my blog. I'll post the camping pictures later (Anna & Sarah, I promise!). Hmmn.. I'm still adding more pictures to my new website.. but please, go ahead and check it out at www.corinnahoffman.com :) I still need to add my "About Me" section--hah! Tell me what you think of it :) Any love and support are always welcomed :)

For now, enjoy the pictures I have below from my last week at BCBSF. No editing was done...so excuse the "glistening faces."

XOXO

Marriage on the Rock!

The Marriage on the Rock class at Celebration Church has come to its final chapter tonight. After 10 weeks of great fellowship and marriage learning, Bobby and I are really happy that we both took this class. We got to meet incredible couples and learn from each other on how to keep the foundation steady and strong in marriage. The couple's discussion guide/workbook was really an eye-opener for both of us, and it helped open up things that we never really thought of discussing. Overall, we are so glad that our Church really values marriage life, and this class is worth it! Coming from a newlywed, I strongly encourage everyone to check out the class next spring or better yet, check out Jimmy Evan's book, "Marriage on the Rock." Besides, you get to enjoy yummy snacks at the meetings!

Enjoy the pictures below from tonight's meeting!

Fun Weekend

I am having the best weekend, and it is not even over yet! The "First Wives Club" (not like the movie) celebrated Anna's birthday last night at Bonefish Grill for great food (another fave restaurant of mine) and finished an awesome girl's night out at Harmonious Monks. You literally need to sit on the bar counter to get those bartender's attention! It was sooo jammed and busy there (or maybe the bartenders are just slow...), but we didn't care--we all had a blast!! Ladies, if you're looking for a place where the guy ratio is higher than the female ratio and you enjoy good music, then go to Harmonious Monks. Our husbands had a good time too with their poker night at Kev's place.

As for tonight, I've never seen St. John's Towne Center so packed like tonight. We met up with Lori, Jason, Nicole and their friends there for the lighting of the Christmas tree. It took us over 20 mins to finally find a parking spot. I just wonder how it's gonna be like at St. John's in December with all the Hannukah and Christmas shopping going on... Besides the parking craziness and the elbow-to-elbow nudging to see the tree, we all enjoyed each other's company and reflected on what holiday spirit really means (okay, fine.. most of us were complaining about being hungry and wanted to leave because of the crowd). We left before the tree was even lit up and headed to Mandarin Ale house for some good food.

Enjoy the pictures below. I really need to bring my Canon DSLR with me wherever I go because it takes sooo much better photos than my lil' Nikon point-n-shoot camera. Oh well, I guess it beats carrying a heavy bulky camera around.

That is I on the stage at Harmonious Monks (yep, on the left side behind those girls in purple and red tops).

Taking a Break

Girlfriends are angels sent from God :) I am always thankful for all the people I meet in this journey called, "Life." Scarlett (an awesome friend/photog of mine) along with Jessi (my work twin) and Rachel (who just got a cool job promotion) took a break in the middle of a busy work week to meet for dinner and drinks at Biscotti's. That place has the best field greens salad and key lime pie! Anyway, as a part of my photo journal, here's a cute picture of us from my point-n-shoot camera :)

4 More Paycheck Periods Until Christmas!!

I can't believe it's less than two months away until Christmas! I was at St. John's Towne Center last Friday, and I can't believe what song I heard playing while shopping at The Loft...Jingle Bell Rock!! Aaaahh... I think Christmas songs should not be played yet until Thanksgiving is over!

Okay, I have lots of stuff in my Wishlist this Christmas (though, most will stay as wishful thinking). I'll name my top 5.. and you have to tell me yours, too!

1. Mac Computer with Aperture software installed to it.
2. New wardrobe from Urban Outfitters & White House, Black Market.
3. Canon 100 mm macro lens.
4. Decent website for my photography.
5. Weekend getaway to Savannah or Key West or wherever close by but not too close to Jax.

Okay, I probably will only get 1 wish out of my five things, but it never hurts to dream and visualize myself getting those things ;-)

Now it's your turn :-) I know we all want world peace, but tell me what you want for yourself only?

xoxo
